If I was to hold up ​sweet potatoes and yams, would you wonder if are they the same?  I know everyone wants to know, but what's the difference between sweet potatoes and yams? 

In this week's video blog, I share a couple major differences between a sweet potato and a yam and break down sweet potato nutrition information and the yams nutrition information.  In addition, I give several different recipes your whole family can use to incorporate one of the healthiest vegetables on the planet, ultimately answering the question as to whether sweet potatoes and yams are the same thing?

Who doesn't love a crock pot, right?  I'm obsessed with finding crock pot recipes for college students. You know the ones that even a poor college student can make.

There are many names for a crock pot: crock pot express multi cooker, slow cooker, one-pot. In this week's video blog, I make up a batch of pork chops using some very simple slow cooker cooking instructions.  Healthy crock pot cooking has never been easier, and when you are on budget based cooking, that slow cooker comes in handy.  Watch and see.
