Why do you have body odor? I know it's not necessary the hottest current topic of wellness, but body odor is caused by bacteria and can be attributed to how your body digest foods.
So what is the root cause of body odor and smelling foul? You know I try to relate everything to the health of your gut, so does an unhealthy gut lead to body odor? In this week's episode of my video blog, I "break down" how breaking down foods can improve your smell, and how a high protein diet can cause your body odor to smell like sulfur.

Is refined sugar bad for you? If you have ever wanted to start your journey to better health, the question of whether refined sugar is bad for your health should always be addressed.
In this week's video blog episode, I look at why refined sugars are bad for you from a blood sugar standpoint. But does that also mean other sweeteners like maple sugar or agave. Is honey better for you than sugar? Whatever sweeteners you choose, it's important to know why does refined sugar cause inflammation, and I look at how to address it.

In today's Video blog on YouTube, I explain that there are 3 ways to get your abs to begin showing. Of course you will have to lift weights or exercise, but it's also best to incorporate probiotics in the effort to assist you in showing those abs. Ultimately, it's your diet and gut health that serves as the key to a 6 pack.

What exactly is an appendix? One of the most misunderstood parts of our body is understanding the use of an appendix, and is the appendix useful.
In this video blog episode, I look to breakdown my thoughts and answer the question of do we need an appendix, and why we have to use the appendix and it's importance of being healthy. ,

We all know that probiotics are beneficial for gut health, but are they beneficial to eliminate constipation? The best way probiotics can help digestive problems is by helping to resolve the issues associated with a slow-moving digestive tract.
In this video blog episode, I use the illustration of a cup of muddy water, a stream of water, and a glass can give you a great example of why constipation can be helped with probiotics. And for most people who eat a standard american diet, probiotics can only help improve digestion and eliminate waste in the body.
I appreciate you watching this video, and hopefully, you learned a bit about how probiotics can assist you if you have problems digesting foods. Would you do me a huge favor and click the like button below. Or, even better, take a screenshot of this and share it on your Instagram story. If you want to be at your healthiest, your nutrition will fail if you don't do this. In fact, most health professionals have it all wrong when telling you what you should and shouldn't do to be healthy.
In this video blog episode, I address what I think to be the most misunderstood part of health. Being healthy is overrated because it should be completely natural in what we have to do to reach our health goals.
Note: Thanks for watching this episode. I hope you learned a bit on why I believe you can succeed at being healthy simply by adding things to your health plan as opposed to eliminating things your trainer says to eliminate. Can food combinations and how you combine foods on your plate improve your overall health? Is your gut health affected by those same food combinations? The Vlog episode attempts to explain the reasons why the order of digestion of foods can indicate whether some will have gas, bloating, and indigestion. If you imagine 3 participants in a race, they will all finish at different times. But imagine if, regardless of how quickly they finished the race, they would all have to wait at the finish line until all were ready to cross the finish line.
Your digestion is the same. Foods digest differently, and those "waiting periods" can give many people problems. Therefore, the food combinations and proper food combining is crucial for weight loss, obtaining valuable nutrients like proteins, and our overall health.

I'm sure you are curious to know what are enzymes or what do probiotics do in our bodies? What is the best way to describe probiotics and digestive enzymes? Many people confuse them and believe that probiotics and enzymes are the same, but it's important to know the distinction and the roles they play to strengthen our immune system.
In this video blog episode, I use an illustration of a scissors and toothbrush bristles to better explain what probiotics and digestive enzymes help us, and if we need to even know what an enzyme is.
Note: Thanks for watching the video, and I hope you learned a bit about how the immune system is supported by probiotics and enzymes. If you did, click the like button below or better yet, it would mean the world if you took a screen shot and shared it on your Instagram or Snapchat story. When it comes to eating liver or other organ meats, there are many different opinions about how does liver taste, why we should eat it because it's nutritious, or who should not eat liver.
But in this video I shot with my son, we prepare a meal of liver and onions together to find out what liver tastes like and if it is good. (I'll apologize for my son's video skills.... it's always a work in progress with children). :-)
Note: Thanks for watching the video (and hopefully you watched it with subtitles). There are some definite health benefits of eating liver. Ultimately, the question of whether you should eat liver comes down to a philosophical belief or whether you think people are "bad" for eating organ meats because he and I definitely made it quite tasty. Even saying the words "rotten foods" conjures up images of mold, bacteria, horrible odors, and potential sickness. But did you know there is actually a good side to those mounds of foods that have begun to exemplify the traits of the local garbage dump?
Our body actually respond to foods just like those refuse centers. It takes in the foods (via food consumption) and begins to decompose it (via chewing and swallowing) until it can no be broken down. So technically, we have a substantial amount of "rotted foods" in various stages of decomposition in our body at any given time. And that's where probiotics come in to play.
In this 3 minute video from SciShow, it's explained how the living bacteria found in our body can actually help us to pre-digest (or begin decomposition) the foods we eat.
jHere's my take on the video. As it explains, we need a significant amount of good bacteria in our gut and digestive system to properly break down foods so that we can obtain the nutrients from them.
An often overlooked component of probiotics is that without them, it would be very difficult for our body to be healthy and properly eliminate food waste from our bodies. Without these good bacteria, our body would become one large garbage dump full of toxic waste, sludge, trash, and non-recyclable trash.
