In my line of work, I do receive many questions about how I make my ProPops, ProPopsicles, and granola, and what is the process I use to create these wonderful treats? I normally respond, "My process is using no process." What does this mean? It means my ProPops are created in its natural state without using heat at any time is because I believe the most potent form of nutrition is found in raw foods. It's a raw food.... it's part of a raw food diet.... it's naturally made and unprocessed... Whenever I sell my ProPops, I always...
like to throw in that my ingredients are essentially the way they are found in nature. That's what I preach to clients.... Focus On Foods First. And the first thing to do, is eat as many foods as you can in its raw form. But then, that leads the question, "what exactly are raw foods?"
Raw foods are generally thought of as foods that are uncooked or unprocessed, and generally organic by nature. I love the idea of eating raw things, and I'll admit that I eat most all parts of an organic fruit or vegetable: stem, seeds, and all. Raw foods contain the highest levels of key nutrients, such as vitamins and minerals, as well as probiotics and enzymes that are destroyed by the process of cooking, treating, and adulterating. It is know that cooking causes levels of fragile vitamins such as vitamin C to decrease dramatically, and while minerals are generally not destroyed by heat, the enzymes necessary for their proper utilization often are. So what are my favorite raw foods? You may look at the list below and think, "this is raw?" And it is. So you carnivores that often thumb your noses at vegans, if you grab a stalk of broccoli and eat it, you are now a raw foodie. So here they are, my top 10 raw foods in no particular order.
