The One Thing You Must Address To Have A Healthy Mindset With Food
How does each of us get a healthy mindset with food? There are so many advantages of having a healthy relationship with food. It is vital to our health.
As we all go through life, most of us (I would hope) want to be on a healthy journey. We should want to find ways to improve our health and live a meaningful long term life. As we navigate this journey, many of our best decisions will come from having a mindset of making them after listening to our gut and not necessarily with our head's logic. Making good (and “thoughtful”) choices to our health is understanding our gut and digestion control our success much more than our head.
When it comes to eating and nutrition, for many, food choices are dictated mostly by the impulse decisions of our head. Our daily decisions and predicated on the questions like “What looks good?”, “What was that meal I saw on The Food Network?”, “What's in the cupboard?”, or “What was the name of that one restaurant?”.
Although these questions might be necessarily to fill up space in our brains, longer term health and success will come from a better understanding of what our gut tells us is good for us. What are the foods we digest best, and in turn, appreciate and utilize more efficiently? The key to having a healthy mindset with food is looking at those things we must address to have a healthy mindset with food. That means having a great relationship and understanding of how foods affect us both mentally and physically. So after listening to the podcast above, you should ask yourself, “What does a healthy mindset with food mean to you?”
