Link Between Inflammation And Mental Health
What is the link between gut bacteria and mental health? We know that the foods we eat can affect our mood, so does this mean that sugar's effect on the brain is not beneficial? I'd like to look a bit deeper into the term nutritional psychology and then explain what happens to your brain when you eat refined foods, especially sugars.
Unfortunately, because it's like a very expensive and upscale automobile, your brain may be broken down if you ingest something aside from premium fuel. If substances from your brain's low premium fuel, such as what you get from processed or refined foods, if it gets to the brain, it doesn't have the capabilities to actually remove them.
So diets high in refined sugars, as an example, directly measured negativity on the brain. Additionally, it hinders measurably the body's regulation of insulin and promotes inflammation and stress on the brain. multiple studies have discovered a correlation between a food plan that has an excessive non-natural sugars that inevitably impair the brain's capability to function successfully and even worse, showing signs of temper disorders like depression and the stress that goes along with that. Now doesn't that make sense? You eat foods that are not natural and it unnaturally does things to your brain.
Does this mean that our gut plays a role in our immune system? Because our immune system is coordinated in our gut, there is a link between inflammation and mental health. This is amplified in the role gut plays in our mental health.
