Who Else Is Lying To Us About The Benefits Of Probiotics?
Is there a quick way to solve health problems using probiotic pills? Most think all probiotics work, but are there reasons why your probiotic pills fail?
The effectiveness of probiotics depends more on choosing the right type of probiotic pill. There are definitely numerous reasons why you might want to begin taking probiotics if you have digestive issues or are looking to improve your gut health, but as much as the media touts their benefits, there are even some negatives (albeit only a few) as to why you might not want to begin taking them or incorporating them into your wellness regimen.
You could say there are benefits and drawbacks, but the real issue should be whether those probiotics that you are taking will actually be effective for you? Why would this even be an issue? It's an issue because including them in your routine doesn't ensure that your body will even use them effectively, and isn't that the reason why you would take any supplements to begin with, because you believe they will work?
Ponder this question, let's say before you bought anything, if there was an app that told you immediately whether it would work or not in your body after taking them, you'd never make a mistake or waste your money, right? But since there isn't this magic-app, how do you know if the supplement is right for you? When it comes to probiotics, most people assume they take a pill then all the happy gut bacteria in those pills go directly into your intestine and then automatically start doing their thing. In general, that's not completely true, and in most instances, actually doesn't happen.
An often not-talked about aspect of probiotics and probiotic supplements is that when you take them, most of them die within a couple of days and don't take up residence the way you want them to or the way you envision them. Our bodies never work in a vacuum, one bodily action affects other bodily actions. If you want to know whether the probiotics you take or consume will end up being beneficial is more about answering the question “How healthy is your gut right now?” and not about the potency of the pill that is marketed on the box.
Knowing why probiotic pill will probably end up failing you is the better way to address your health rather than blindly accept they will work. There is a secret why your probiotic pills aren't working, and knowing the reason is more about knowing why some in the pharmaceutical field might be lying to you about the benefits of probiotics when taking probiotic pills.
