Do Vaccines Work Against Bacterial Infections?
What are vaccines and how do they work? Is there some relationship between how vaccines affect our gut and our immune system to the point where we might consider whether it would be probiotics vs. vaccines?
All of us is acquainted with the idea of what a vaccination. A crippled virus is injected via a shot, and the immune system prepares itself for the attack of the real virus someday later. But did you realize that it is feasible to do some thing similar with micro organisms?
Studies have proven showing that mice that had been immunized with soil bacterium that provided them with a bit of resistance to digestive stress and from colitis that had been showed to be caused by stress. These are symptoms of IBS. When you begin to compare classic vaccinations to bacterium, generally a vaccination is directed against only one germ. Whereas a particular benefit of immunization with bacteria is that the micro organism have a large and useful impact. This can't help but benefit the immune system and possible infection simply because of the wide variety of them being used.
Looking further into it, it seems amazing that our whole immune system works more effectively thanks to an influx of bacteria. More research needs to be done, but it seems plausible that this can be even a remedy for autoimmune illnesses and allergies, and answering the question of why bacteria evolve, it would make sense to know whether vaccines work against or for bacterial infections as well.
