Allergy Symptoms In Poor Digestive System
What is that that causes allergies to affect negatively your immune system? Does a compromised immune system cause allergies or are allergies low immune system causes?
If you've followed this blog for a while, you know that I strongly believe there is a connection our microbiome has in fighting seasonal and chronic allergies. Now, it's important to note that food allergies have ballooned by over 45% in kids since the mid-nineties. There are numerous theories, and I have tried to hypothesize why. The one gaining the foremost traction stems from the drastic modified food choices kids face today. This change (and not for the better) in modified feeding habits has altered the microbiome composition of a majority of teens.
Did you know that most of the children in America have had, on average, 3 antibiotic treatments before they're even 3 years old? These treatments ultimately kill off several of their gut bacterium necessary for a strong immune system.
Laboratory studies in mice have shown that antibiotics given early in life increase the chance for food allergies dramatically. Now, once these mice were fed a specific bacterium found only in mice, the food allergies disappeared. What they found is these mice-specific bacterium shielded the liner of the intestines and thereby stopped the entry of food proteins going in the blood and inflicting a reaction. It seems there is more and more supported analysis, it appears that every microbiome species plays specific role in the positive immune responses associated with the fighting of allergies. So what is the best way to heal your digestion and allergies? Looking at what causes allergies to develop and addressing those through a regimen of consuming probiotics can significantly reduce allergies symptoms in a poor digestive system.
