Best Plant-Based Proteins
If we want to be at our healthiest, we must know which components are important and answer the question, “Are plant proteins better than meat proteins?” If one chooses to eat stricly plant proteins, i.e. being a vegan, what are the healthiest plant based proteins?
If you're wanting to stop eating meat and consume your proteins from plants, you'll certainly find numerous bits of information that seem to conflict one another in your initial science and health research. . This is especially true when it comes to eating meat and choosing not to include meat in your diet. .
There has been significant amount of research showing that plant based diets can prevent chronic diseases and death simply in the fact that generally doesn't have as many carcinogens and it's easier to digest on our bodies than meat based ones. But even with some initial information showing the benefits, the question becomes whether or not veganism and choosing not to eat meat is safe for over an extended period of time. This is largely due to quote unquote food industry science, which is full of bias and false information that constantly is used both in our educational and our healthcare systems.
More information coming out on why consuming more plant proteins is good for our overall health, but regardless of the common core knowledge that plants are beneficial for our bodies, some consider veganism to be spreading false rumors or spreading misinformation. Now before you send me messages saying that I'm being militant about veganism or promoting falsehoods myself. The bottom line is ultimately comes down to how well your body generally can digest plant based proteins versus meat based ones and really how healthy you are emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Let's think about it logically though. You basically eat when your foods eat, so if you aren't choosing hormone free, free range and organic meats, the protein that you consume from those animal products are generally filled with fats and chemicals and all sorts of toxins that can be bad for you and hard to digest and yes, the same can be said for plants, but as I mentioned, those are generally easier to digest than meat based ones. So I'll use myself as an example. When I ate a significant amount of meat-based proteins during my bodybuilding career, I had a significant amount of digestion-related issues. Being in a state of constipation or bloating was commonplace. Nowadays, I don't concern myself with proteins anymore because there's enough in what I eat and I am not only healthy, but I feel better about myself and how I'm better able to really kind of to relate to the creatures in this world. And the bottom line is that if you choose to eat meat, be especially picky in those meats, organic range, free hormone free, and if it seems to be problematic or a headache, then you might be surprised at how much protein you can actually obtain strictly from eating plants. So where to begin? There are easy ways for people to include a plant-based diet for beginners. The hardest part is knowing which are the best plant based proteins. Knowing these answers can ultimately answer the question of whether veganism is the most sustainable diet for you.
