Is A Vegan Diet Better?
With all of the attention on specific diets and specific foods within those diets, it's normal to question whether things like the vegan diet or lifestyle is actually health? It really doesn't matter if you break it down by philosophy or by what you may have read in the newspaper, it comes down to whether or not the foods you eat help you get to an ideal weight.

Eat Like A Bear Diet Plan
I'll just go ahead and ask the question, "why should you be an omnivore"? This really stems from the thought that we should let our environment determine our diet.
The commonality we all share, is that we want to get the most nutrition from the foods that we eat. It doesn't matter if you're vegan, or vegetarian, or paleo, pescatarian, the way that you get the most vitamins and minerals from the foods that you ingest, is through good gut health and digestion.
Going forward, I want you to try to model your nutrition plan around the bear. Bears are omnivores, but, they're mostly vegetarian. They're also adaptable creatures, based on their surroundings. Polar bears eat seals. Panda bears eat mostly bamboo. North American Nordic bears eat pretty much just anything ... berries, fruits, nuts, mushrooms. But, they also eat meat, as well. Again, based on their surroundings.
Healthy Diet Lifestyle Change
Why is it that when people live a certain lifestyle, a general assumption that everyone should be that way follows? Now the title of this podcast speaks to vegans, but in today's episode, I actually breakdown why it's not really important what you eat, but what your body thinks is important to you.
In true digestive fashion, the body doesn't really care what label you put on the foods you I'm sure you've had a conversation with someone before about what's the best diet or meal plan. If you have, this episode is definitely a must. Click the link to listen or download.
Good Health Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is one of those touted "super food" that has a significant following and a bit of skepticism. Is coconut oil a fat? Have you ever asked the question, “are saturated fats bad for you?” Most people without a moment’s hesitation would repeat the mantra that saturated fats are bad because they cause the clogging of the arteries and weight gain. But what if there was a saturated fats that actually may be good for you and could, in turn, help you with weight loss? In this podcast, I share what I believe is the best food "supplement" I use (and eat) everyday. To listen or download this episode follow the link.
These podcasts are an extension of me sharing what I believe is the source to be healthy emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually: a strong gut.
