Being Around Animals Means Less Gut Stress
Have you ever thought about if our immune system improves with being around animals? A large percentage of people have pets or live around animals daily so is it too far fetched to think animals can help our digestion?
So it might be possible knowing how our relationship with the land can actually make contributions to having a more healthy gut and microbiome. Now, living inside a region where it might be rural or personal homestead might be peaceful and quiet, however, the actual cause why human beings choose to dwell in rural areas for better health might be that they can actually handle stress better than their city-dwelling compadres.
Can You Be Physically Well With Better Sleep?
Today I'm going to be discussing the first pillar of health necessary to be holistically healthy and that's being physically strong. Now most people immediately think of exercise when they hear physical wellness and although that's an important part of the equation, it's not the only aspect deserving of our attention.
Your body needs more than movement alone. Physical wellness also includes appropriate sleep, hygiene, and a healthy diet. If you're evaluating your physical health, ask these questions, are you getting enough quality sleep? And if not, what barriers are keeping you from achieving regular and restful sleep? The National Sleep Foundation recommend that adults should get anywhere from between seven and nine hours each night of sleep.
Is there a best way to meditate at home? You may have heard that meditation is good for your brain, but if you are like me, the hardest part was learning how to slow down.
