Gut Brain Link

Mental Power Digestion

Is there a connection between your gut and your brain?  Is the brain or the gut more powerful?  Knowing which has the power to control what you eat is the key to resolving any health or digestion related issues you may have.

What part of your body is more powerful in determining what you eat, you brain or your gut? I'm going to use an illustration to prove my point.

But let's say you've got that 3:00 pm crashing and you start to feel lethargic and your mind's saying, "Hey we need some food, food, food," and you start thinking about all those specific foods. But let's say you go pick out some potato chips, some sour cream and onion. You take that back to your desk, all the sudden you eat it. You feel, "Oh, that's great. How does candida affect the brain?

What Really Causes Candida?

What is Candida or what is a yeast infection? Is Candida bad and what causes an overgrowth of it?

Candida Albicans is the most common type of yeast infection found in the mouth, intestinal tract and vagina, and it may affect skin and other mucous membranes. If the immune system is functioning optimally, this type of yeast infection is rarely serious.  However, if left unchecked, it breaks down the walls of the intestinal lining and penetrates into the bloodstream, ultimately causing leaky gut syndrome and can affect everyone.

In this episode of my podcast, I discuss why yeast infections are a result of something getting out of control that most people eat everyday.  In fact, yeast infections are not just a woman's problem.  If you want to eliminate future health problems with this yeast in your body, it's important to know the facts.
