How to be proactive about your health. That seems to be how society is heading, or maybe it's not. We should be looking at our health outside the box.
I'd like to discuss nutrition, and really bio hacking nutrition, and how the key to your long term success will be built upon three things. Foods bring people together, it's the source of pleasure. It also serves as the foundation that really can build on anything else that makes this body run. There's a challenge in nutrition, unfortunately, that dualistic approach in saying, "This food is bad, this food is good."
Does Will Power Really Stop Food Cravings?
What happens when you have cravings and end up being hungry for more food? Here's a tip for you. If you get those 3:00 PM crashes, most of the people associate blood sugar related issues with actual hunger, and there's a huge difference in addressing that. So, if you get those 3:00 PM crashes and you think to yourself, okay, what kind of foods do I really want, and you think about maybe a steak or a potato or an avocado, then generally it's nutritionally based. What that means is that your body's just not getting enough nutrients from the foods, the good foods, that you're eating.

It's going to quench that thirst, however when it comes to foods, we are so discriminatory and down right picky when it comes to those foods that satisfy our hunger.
Mental Power Digestion
Is there a connection between your gut and your brain? Is the brain or the gut more powerful? Knowing which has the power to control what you eat is the key to resolving any health or digestion related issues you may have.
What part of your body is more powerful in determining what you eat, you brain or your gut? I'm going to use an illustration to prove my point.
But let's say you've got that 3:00 pm crashing and you start to feel lethargic and your mind's saying, "Hey we need some food, food, food," and you start thinking about all those specific foods. But let's say you go pick out some potato chips, some sour cream and onion. You take that back to your desk, all the sudden you eat it. You feel, "Oh, that's great. And then about 10 minutes later you feel like you're hungry again.
How To Stimulate Bowel Movement
There is a correlation between bowel movements and probiotics. It's often asked do probiotics cause bowel movements? Understanding that there is a physiological reason why when someone consumes probiotics or eats fermented foods why probiotics cause bowel movements.
Today I'm going to be talking about probiotics, and bowel movements. I know, great stuff. But, inevitably, people do ask when they take probiotics, or drink kombucha, or kefir. They end up going to the bathroom, and they want to know the reasons why. They think that it's a laxative, or maybe have questions associated with that, and I'm here to tell you that probiotics are not a laxative. Their main job, their main physiological function is to go in and break up sugars and starches in your body.
