Will Bacteria Become Resistant To Antibiotics?
How dangerous is the epidemic of bacterial resistance to antibiotics? With the overuse of antibiotics, there is more and more resistant bacteria.
I want to begin discussing the real threat that antibacterial resistance has based upon the overuse of antibiotics. As humans we face a number of threats from the environment, but none actually may loom larger than the one post by antibiotic resistance and through our over prescription, poor regulation, agricultural abuse and weeks suppl chain, hyper resilient bacteria is coming. You can see more and more talk about it in the articles in the news today and based on the state of the prescription industry, it could get worse in five or 10 years down the road.
Hydration From Foods
Did you know that water can be eaten? When it comes to whole foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, within it, there is water that can be eaten.
The author of the book “The science of cell Water” wrote that the water you drink “will go right through you,” and take any nutrition with it. Hydration is about the water you preserve and it's no longer about the amount of water you drink.
Molecules that facilitate the entry of water into the cells is naturally found in fruits and veggies. This process of cell hydration occurs slowly and lasts longer than simply drinking a glass of water.
Physical Activity Hydration And Health
How exactly does hydration work? What is the correlation between hydration and it's health benefits and can you get a lot of hydration from foods ?
After we are born, it's been estimated that ¾ of our body is made up of water. Science shows that as we become older, the content of the water in our bodies could inevitably be as low as ½. Why? Our cells lose water as we age and our well being is decided by using our cellular’s potential to maintain water.
Probiotics Battle With Antibiotics
Better gut health requires you to know what antibiotic resistance is. Bacteria resistance and antibiotic resistance are correlated for digestive strength.
Understanding this relationship begins at first understanding how toxicity influences the intestine. One very strong and poisonous invader is antibiotics. Of course, there can be some benefit in taking antibiotics, but believing that they are a cure-all and overuse can do significant damage to our gut health and ultimately our toxicity levels and how much good bacteria flora is in our bodies.
Does A Diet Have To Be Diverse?
It shouldn't be surprising to know what you eat affects mood. In fact it regulates behavior. But how does it compare with global vs. american diets?
There has been some promising research that has indicated once people take probiotics, their perceived anxiety, how they view and handle pressure, and their intellectual outlook can be enhanced, compared with those who don't include probiotics of their diets. But there have been different studies comparing various non-US diets like the Mediterranean diet and the Japanese diet to a typical SAD diet. Standard American diet.
The Secret Of Nature Vs. Nurture
Do you have strong gut bacteria? When it comes to the genetic makeup of that bacteria, does nature or nurture play a bigger role in it's health? These questions can be answered by looking at our intestinal fitness and intestine microbiome from a nature versus nurture aspect to determine which has the bigger and more effect.
The composition of the microbiome differs from person to person, with each one having a different bacterial makeup. For a long time, it's been thought that this variability finds its origins in our variations in our genes. This is the nature component of it.
Being Around Animals Means Less Gut Stress
Have you ever thought about if our immune system improves with being around animals? A large percentage of people have pets or live around animals daily so is it too far fetched to think animals can help our digestion?
So it might be possible knowing how our relationship with the land can actually make contributions to having a more healthy gut and microbiome. Now, living inside a region where it might be rural or personal homestead might be peaceful and quiet, however, the actual cause why human beings choose to dwell in rural areas for better health might be that they can actually handle stress better than their city-dwelling compadres.
How Flies Can Help Us Understand Our Health
Think outside the box when it comes to a quick way to lengthen your life. Are there really any unique ways to increase our lifespan? How about we look at how flies can do exactly that. Sure, you heard me. Taking a deeper look at flies can assist us to develop a higher understand our very own microbiome.
Fruit flies have a median life span of about forty days if they are not eaten quicker via a hungry animal looking for food. After doing a bit of research, I found when scientists fed the flies a mixture of probiotics and an natural supplement called Triphala, they were able to lengthen the lifestyles of the flies by as many as 26 days. The flies had a decreased risk of degenerative issues (for a fly) including extended insulin resistance and infection. The amazing part about it was those outcomes happened because of the completely altered composition of the microbiota affected by the the probiotics, which are living bacteria in their own right.
