Jared Toay Has A Passion For Better Gut Health

Jared's Probiotics and Jared's ProPops

My Focus Is Digestive Health And How It Can Benefit Our Mental Health

My name is Jared Toay, and I created the original ProPop.  My friends call me the "Mad Scientist" and acquaintances call me that "Popsicle Dude".  I'm in my 40's and proud to be a dad and addicted to creating probiotic and fermented foods.  I am quite proud of the fact that my Oklahoma brewery looks more like a fermentation brewery than a conventional kitchen.  I find it fascinating what foods can do when they are allowed to be "alive".  There is no greater satisfaction than seeing someone's face when they try one of my fermented products or foods and say, "OMG. This is amazing".  Some say I am even a bit OCD in making sure people are happy with my fermented foods and probiotic goodies.

Leading up to the creation of Jared's Probiotics, my history has been a bit unorthodox.  I was a complete mess, but looking back, the signs were all there.  EVERY single part of my body - physical and mental had been impacted by the foods I ate.

Then one day, I decided "enough is enough".  I was determined to heal myself and was going to do it through foods, not by medication or drugs. The more research I did, the more I believed my healing could be found in the power of fermented foods. And at the foundation of every fermented food is what I believe to be the key component of living a longer and optimal life...probiotics.

Through that personal experience, persistent digestive problems, and weight fluctuations of over 60 pounds, I began experimenting with creating probiotic popsicles. Based on the immediate and positive responses and the urging of my clients, I started to create dozens of flavors and sell my (what I found out are) one-of-a-kind raw, vegan, gluten free, and junk free popsicles at markets around town.

The reception was overwhelming and the impetus of the organic water kefir sodas that has seen it's share of publicity.... then my homemade granola, an all fermented gluten-free delicacy that a couple of NBA teams purchase in bulk.... then honey premium kombucha, made only with green tea, honey, fruits, and herbs.... then other health & beauty products like toothpaste and deodorant.... and the probiotic beer, cultured, gluten-free and revolutionary... the list goes on and on.

So thank you for checking out my site.  I'd love for you to experience how a frozen treat, soda, or snack can help you as well as be a tasty alternative to modern day versions in the market place today.  Head on over to my page and place an order for any of my probiotic treats.  Or if you are a kombucha fan, check out all my resources on why kombucha is amazing.

Once you check that out, become a gut-bacteria nerd and find out why probiotics are the key to better health.  I love probiotics and how it can help you be a healthier you.  And as a fan of the Zombie movies, I call probiotics and enzymes the "Zombies of the Food World"... they bring dead foods to life.  If you are interested in learning a bit more about that wonderful gut bacteria called probiotics, begin your digestive journey here.

After whetting your appetite with a healthy dose of probiotics and kombucha, I'm sure you'll want to begin experimenting in your own kitchen to make your own fermented foods.  Before you begin, take a look at my resources I've included about fermentation and why you should jump on board this train.

Lastly, spend an hour or so on my site. I've included hundred of resources you can use to educate yourself on the value of better gut health. There are podcasts, videos, and written articles all free to use.  It's been called the Wikipedia of probiotics and gut health.

Join thousands of my other friends who have helped make my ProPops the up-and-coming nutritional treat.  Much love to you. - Jared
