Jared's Kombucha Is Not Your Typical Kombucha Brand
We Make Our Kombucha Differently Because We Are A Different Kind Of Brewer
Jared's Kombucha started a bit by accident. Jared had some significant health issues and through many months of research found out that he might be able to correct them by adding fermented foods his diet. After seeing the limited fermented food choices available to him, he ventured over to try a few different brands of kombucha in the beverage section. Loving the taste and tangy flavors of them, he began an adventure of brewing his own.
This love of fermented drinks, especially kombucha, led him down the path of deciding to start a company dedicated to making gut-healthy foods and drinks. Jared has always been a bit different, and seeing that there were already a dozen or so traditional kombucha makers at the store, he decided to try his hand at brewing Jun kombucha, which is a fermented beverage made from honey-sweetened tea and healthy bacteria and yeasts.
Once he had perfected the brewing, flavoring, and bottling, he started giving away bottles to friends and family who passed on their thoughts about his brews to more friends and family and word began to spread around Tulsa. And after 1 1/2 years of brewing, he has moved out of his kitchen and into a brew space in Oklahoma City and has an amazing Operations Manager and Brewer named Tim The Bottler.

We believe it takes a different temperament to brew kombucha, and it takes someone even more different to go against the grain and brew with honey instead of sugar like all those other brands. Our labels portray our sense of quirkiness because we don't believe drinking healthy needs to be high-scale, green, or something you have to hold your nose in order to finish.
